He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Chamney and Eleanor Chamney. He is survived by: his siblings, Dennis (Susan), Sara Prizler (Charles), Brian and Bruce (Janis); and his nieces, Erica Chamney and Carissa Wilson (Alex).

Richard met his Maker on May 18, 2020 due to complications of the COVID-19 virus.
