She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Shannon and Alice West Shannon; her husband Robert Greathouse; her grandson Patrick; and her siblings, Arthur Shannon and Viola Zingg.
She is survived by: her children, Roger (Mary) of Independence, Ronald (Pam) of Washington, IA, Ross (Roberta) of Waterloo and Ruth Behrens (Clark) of Rock Island, Illinois; and her sisters, Leona Herman of Evansdale and Wilma Blosch of Waterloo. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; one great-great grandson.
