She was predeceased by: her parents, William Voyek and Anna Voyek (Kral); her husband Delbert Slaughter; and her sons, Joseph and Steve Slaughter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Stedman of Evansdale and Debra Burrill (Mark) of Cedar Falls; and her brothers, Richard Voyek (Kay) and George Voyek (Janet). She is also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Queen of Peace Catholic Church (320 Mulberry St, Waterloo, IA 50703). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
