He is survived by: his brother Masonry; his wife Barbara Sweerin of Evansdale; his children, Greg Sweerin (Barb) of Evansdale, Dave Sweerin (Tami) of Dinsdale, Vicky Halstead (Brian) of West Union and Sheila Sweerin (Aaron Konigsmark) of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Cory (Libby), Chris (Lisa), Brianne (Ray), Mitch (Mandy), Matt, Doug (Sami), Emily (Phil), Colleen (Bryce), Logan (Matt), Kristen and Kaitlyn; his siblings, Marlys "Tootie" Murray of Waterloo, Rolene Whitesell of Janesville, Marta "Marty" Bockholt (Larry) of Fairbank, Marlene Smith of Parkersburg and James Widner (Brenda) of Jesup; and his brother-in-law Larry O'Brien. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
