We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2021, David J. Woods of Evansdale, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Woods and Loxie Woods (Trout); his parents-in-law, Gerald and Betty Nagel; his stepfather Loren Federspiel; his siblings, Larry and Mary; and his nephew Jimmy.

He is survived by: his wife Paulette Nagel of Evansdale; his son Jeffrey of Cedar Falls; his sister Diane Latusick of Waterloo; his brother-in-law Alen Nagel of Waterloo; and his nephews, Brian Hansen (Jennifer), Jeremie Nagel (Jennifer) and Jason Nagel (Amy).

Due to the ongoing pandemic, facial coverings are requested.

Memorials will be directed to the church and to Wounded Warrior Project.
