He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Newman and Minnie Newman (Bailey); his son William Glen Newman; and his siblings, Sandra, Kitty and Dennis.
He is survived by: his wife Charline Oliver of Evansdale; his daughters, Robin McNally (Tim) and Tanya Newman; his grandchildren, Shyanne McNally of Waterloo, Savanna McNally of Waterloo and Madison Voshell of Waterloo; his stepdaughter Michelle Folken (Dan) of Chatfield, MN; his stepgrandson Caiden Folken; and his siblings, Thomas Newman, Terry Newman (Connie), Timothy Newman (Sue), Brenda Newman, Eulalia Averhoff (Dale), Toni Hay (Mike) and Tina Rakowski (Jeff). He is also survived by two uncles; one aunt; and a multitude of cousins.
