She is survived by: her children, Charles Birkland (Lori) of Spirit Lake, IA and Charlene Yates (Doug) of Buffalo, MN; her brother Paul Kooker of Emmetsburg, IA; her siblings-in-law, Beverly Kooker of Colorado Springs, CO, Regina Johnson (Karl) of Des Moines, IA and Ron Keeling of Blue Springs, MO; her grandchildren, Matthew Yates, Nathan Yates (Jill), Ryan Birkland (Jill), Jordan Birkland, Zachary Birkland, Grace Birkland, Elizabeth Tostenson, Carissa Melvin (Phil) and Rachel Keeling; and her great grandchildren, Peyton Yates, Greyson Yates, Elliot Birkland, Kaylee Melvin, Bailey Melvin and Lily Birkland.
