He is survived by: his children, Diane Hummel (Jeff) of Mason City, Russel Barber, Jr. of Rockford, Iowa, Darla Goecke (Scott) of Estherville and Becky Barber of Mason City; his grandsons, Jason Hummel (Jenn), Nathan Hummel (Megan), Jeremy Hummel (Audrey), Justin Goecke and Phillip Goecke (Alexcis Hatfield); his sisters, Marlis Moe and Geneva Hovey; and his siblings-in-law, Roger Denton (Frances) and Vivian Denton. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
