He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Mitchell and Viola Mitchell (Weisbrod); and his brother-in-law Herbert Mathes. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Robert Mitchell (Mary) of Lone Rock, Tessia Rockey, Marilyn Ann Newbrough (Dave) of Lone Rock, Nick, Larry (Melanie), Terry Allen Mitchell (Caryn) of Littleton, Cailin and Trevor; and his siblings, Billie Mathes of Dunsmuir and Bryan Krause (Marilyn) of Sioux Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Fenton American Legion.
