We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2024, at the age of 69, Robert E. Christensen of Estherville, Iowa, born in Emmetsburg, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Christensen and Alice Christensen (Flint). He is survived by: his brothers, Dennis Christensen (Erma) of Ruthven and Harold Christensen (Deb Moran) of Graettinger, Iowa; and his nieces and nephews, Jason Preston (Tracey) of Lake Park, Angela Fisher (Tim) of Eagan, Andy Preston (Mandy) of Battle Creek, Ryan Moran of Peterson, Keith Moran (Andria) of Graettinger, Lucas Moran (Jenny) of Estherville and Casey Moran (Devon) of Waterloo, Iowa. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (703 Broadway St, Emmetsburg, IA 50536). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
