He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Dahna and Virginia Dahna (Hansen); his sisters, Betty Loewenberg, Darlene Olson and Lorraine Thornburg; his half-brother Ronald Hansen; and his granddaughter Sarah Ann Marie Dahna.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Dahna of Estherville; his sons, Jeff Dahna (Ali) of Windom, MN and Jason Dahna (Mischelle) of Wallingford, IA; and his grandchildren, Owen, Adam, Meaghan, Scott and Samantha.
In lieu flowers, memorials may be given to Estherville Lutheran Church.
