He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathleen Jean DeVries; his granddaughter Jessica Payton; his great grandchildren, Shelby and Aaron; his grandson Marshall Payton; his children, Ezra, Kade and Alyssa Payton (Joe Boeke); his grandchildren, Calah, Colin, Cason, Hannah Ward (Andrew), Degan, Emma and Nicholas Beernink (Mara Irmiter); his parents, Hermina Beernink and Eugene Beernink; and his brother Greg Beernink (Connie). He was also cherished by his extended family and many friends.
