It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Kay Osborn (Estherville, Iowa), born in Rolfe, Iowa, who passed away on June 14, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Kauffman and Merle Kauffman (Christensen); her former husband Roger Leon Osborn; her siblings, Gail Kauffman (Cyndy) and Lavelle Swenson (Larry); her son Mark Schroeder; and her nephew Jason Barslou.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Schroeder; her children, Debra Osborn (Tracy Smith), Craig Osborn (Kelly), Matt Schroeder (Lisa) and Marty Schroeder (Kay); her grandchildren, Olivia LaPlant, Avery LaPlant, Sam LaPlant, Andrew LaPlant, Andrew Osborn (Hannah), Mackenzie Osborn, Madison Osborn, Evan Schroeder (Rachel), Kara Evans (Ryan), Amie Schroeder, Joel Schroeder, Rene Schroeder, Justen Schroeder, Brandy Schroeder and Zack Brumbaugh; her great grandchildren, Paisley Osborn-Kinser, Elise Schroeder, Eli Schroeder, Esra Schroeder, Raelynn Schroeder and Hallee Brumbaugh; and her siblings, Delbert Kauffman (Helen), Pam Kauffman and Peg Alig (Mike).
In lieu of flowers, Phyllis' family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
