She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Pullen and Creta Pullen (Brown); her husband Robert Tirevold; her sons, Alan and Tom Tirevold; her grandson Brian Tirevold; and her brothers, Robert Pullen and David Pullen.
She is survived by: her former husband Bruce Irish; her children, Barbara Halverson of Mesa, AZ, Roger Tirevold (Mary) of Armstrong, IA and Jim Tirevold (Vickie) of Spencer, IA; her daughters-in-law, Linda Tirevold of Kennedaw, GA and Diana Tirevold of Sioux Falls, SD; her stepchildren, Glenn Irish (Betsy) and Connie Spohn; and her sister-in-law Ida Pullen (Larry Duncan). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
Later she worked in the Con-Ed office at ILCC for 14 years through RSVP. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Rug Group and funeral committee at the church, helped with Meals on Wheels, and volunteered with RSVP since 1994.
