She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Anderson and Lorine Anderson (Lauritzen); her son Randall Berven; and her brothers, Donald and Gordon Anderson.

She is survived by: her husband Donald Berven of Graettinger; her children, Dan Berven (Sandy) of Graettinger and Lori Joachims of Graettinger; and her grandchildren, Heather Bachman (Aaron), Josh Berven (Katie), Matt Joachims (Abby), Joe Berven and Abbey Berven. She is also survived by 1 great-granddaughter and 8 great- grandsons; as well as many other extended family members and friends.
