It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlyn Thornburg (Estherville, Iowa), who passed away on August 27, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Thornburg and Elva Thornburg (Michael); and his brothers, Dewaine, Marvin and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine of Estherville; his children, Roger Thornburg (Cathy) of Estherville, Myra Snyder of Estherville and Danny Thornburg (Kate) of Fairmont; his grandchildren, Paul Thornburg, Joshua Thornburg, Allen Snyder, Kristen Albaugh, Laura Snyder, Sara Snyder, Jonathon Thornburg and Danyelle Hansen; his great grandchildren, Madison Snyder, Malaki Hansen, Isabelle Hansen, Blake Bresler, Brielle Beardsley, Cody Vulich, Brayden Vulich, Elisa Albaugh, Quinn Thornburg and Isla Thornburg; and his siblings, Don Thornburg (Joyce) of Estherville, Ron Thornburg (Vicki) of Owatonna, MN, Darlene Bailey of Estherville and Dolores Kay Dobson of White Lake, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
