She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Schacherer and Elizabeth Schacherer (Reuland); her husband Phil Herum; her sons, Gregory and Roger Herum; and her siblings, Dolores Umscheid, Lorraine Origer, Eugene and Louis Schacherer.
She is survived by: her son Doug Herum (Julie); her daughter-in-law Amy Herum; her grandchildren, Allison Nelson (Brad), Bryan Herum (Carly), Zachary Herum (Marissa), Claire Herum, Carson Templeton, Tess Jackson (Mark Foss), Hallee Salton (Jordan) and Bailey Sievers (Matt); her sisters, Lucille McCombs and Margaret Hunt; and her siblings-in-law, Shirley, Carmen Schacherer and David Origer. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Patrick's Catholic Church or The American Cancer Society.
