She was predeceased by: her parents, Nolan Boggess and Lena Boggess (Schaper); her husband Ben Haigh; her stepdaughter Kathy; and her nephew Larry Lee Boggess.
She is survived by: her former husband Benjamin Haigh; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Sicard (Garry) of Estherville, Maureen Haisman of Vinton, IA, Marlene Walthart (Larry) of Estherville, Larry Boggess (Jan) of Colorado Springs, CO, George Boggess (Linda) of Omaha, NE, John Boggess of Winder, GA, William Boggess of Estherville and Steven Boggess (Janeen) of Carver, MN.. She is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews and many Schaper and Boggess cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Emmet County Animal Shelter in Martha's memory.
