She was predeceased by: her parents, William Henley and Iva Henley (Ammons); her husband Elvin Stroup; and her siblings, Arlene, Norma, Avis, Irma, William, Burt and Craig.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Koenecke (Dennis) of Estherville, Charles Stroup of Estherville, Carol Bosma (Doug) of Emmons, Minnesota and Jane Bell (Marc) of Blue Earth, Minnesota; and her sister Wanda Grote of Sioux Rapids.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to First Presbyterian Church, St. Luke Lutheran Home, Spencer, Iowa or Kindred Hospice.
