He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel B. Carlson and Millie Beasley Carlson; his niece Jennifer Kloss; and his son-in-law Austin Skyberg. He is survived by: his wife Connie Carlson (Staples); his children, Tina Twito (Jerry), Paul Carlson, Joy Skyberg-Worden (J. D.) and Louisa Bockstedt II; his grandchildren, Kira Robinson (Gary), Aaron Stockton and Rebekah Skyberg-Worden; his great grandchildren, Guinevere and Gawain Robinson; his sister Sharon Castillo (David); and his children, Crystal, Tiffany and Stephanie.
