He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilson Graham and Alice Leola Graham (Ladd); and his sister Margaret Hromatko (Graham). He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Carter; his sister Rua Egdorf (Graham); his children, James (Susan Kuecker), Mary Graham and Dr. Jeffery Graham (Amy); his grandchildren, Erin Graham, Allison Graham (Minwoo Cho) and Eric Graham; and his great grandchild Eric Graham II. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Northwest Iowa Jazz Band.
