He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Thompson and Agnes Thompson (Bortvit); and his parents-in-law, Woodrow and Iva Boggess. He is survived by: his former spouse Quint Ringham; his wife Kathy Boggess Kinnetz of Estherville; his children, Jann Knox of Winter Springs, FL, Randy Thompson (Stephanie) of Henderson, NV and Jerry Thompson (Gina) of Spirit Lake, IA; his siblings, Corliss Thompson (Sue) of Kansas City, MO and Barbara Waggie of Owatonna, MN; his sisters-in-law, Mary Corwin of Melbourn, IA, Kay Besaw (Brian) of Estherville and Sue Koons (Tom) of Estherville; and his close friends, Ron Anderson and Roy Gage of Estherville. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
