She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Nissen; her parents, Simon T. Simonsen and Esther Simonsen; her siblings, Raymond Simonsen, Gladys Sorensen, Ruth Atkinson and Myrtle Omundson; and her son-in-law Donald Jorgensen.
She is survived by: her children, Myrtle Erb (Ted) of North Liberty, IA, Betty Jorgensen of Estherville, IA, Dale Nissen (Barb) of Estherville, IA, Bill Nissen (Mary) of Fairfield Glade, TN and Melinda Fisher (Phil) of Ankeny, IA. She is also survived by six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
