She was predeceased by: her parents, Darold Smith and Evelyn Smith (Smith); her grandmother Elizabeth Smith; her husband George William "Bill" Bruett; her daughter Becky Dodge; her grandfather Thomas; her siblings, Robert Smith and Shirley Sorensen; and her parents-in-law, Henry and Katie Bruett.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Rink (John) of Estherville, Mary Hobmeier (Harry) of Estherville, Mike Bruett of Estherville and Tammy Hoffman (Darrell) of Spencer; and her pet Willie.
