She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Starkey and Verna Starkey (Duhn); her husband Doug Nelson; her parents-in-law, Harry and Betty Nelson (Hermanson); her brother Greg Starkey; her nephew Tim Westfall; and her brother-in-law Terry Murray.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Patrick Greene and Wayne Torreson; her children, Kelley Jewell (Tom), Daniel Torreson (Melissa), Angela Sorbo (Scott) and David Torreson (Tabby); her grandchildren, Kristen Torreson, Paige Jewell, Carson Torreson, Noah Jewell, Wyatt Iwen, Piper Gale Torreson, Aiden Sorbo, Matthew Torreson and Elliott Sorbo; and her siblings, Linda Walrath of Graettinger, Becky Murray of Graettinger and Kay Starkey of Graettinger. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
