He was predeceased by: his parents, Olai Opsal and Mildred Opsal (Hanson); and his siblings, Ardyth, Ardis, Muriel and Lyndon.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Looft; his sons, Mark Alan and Steven Lauris Opsal (Sue) of Mark Alan; his grandchildren, Jeff Opsal (Nikki), Greg Opsal (Katie), Dan Opsal (Lisa), Stephanie Opsal Hearn (Sean) and Andy Opsal; his brother LeRoy Opsal (Dona); and his niece Karen Sanftner.
Memorial donations can go to Nazareth Lutheran Church in Armstrong.
