He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Marlow and Ida Marlow (Kollasch); his former wife Donna Ramus; his grandchildren, Sidney and Charlie Marlow; and his sisters, Joan Donovan (Bob) and Denise Cook (Dwight).
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Shirk (Origer) of Emmetsburg, Iowa; his children, Philip Marlow of Cedar Falls, Tony Marlow (Pat) of Richland Washington, Ann Rendler (Rob) of Oakley, Michael Marlow (Debra) of Bondurant, Patrick Marlow (Richard Collins) of Fairbanks and James Marlow (Terisa) of New Athens, Illinois; his stepchildren, Cory Shirk (Ana) of Emmetsburg, Kristal Theesfeld (David) of Emmetsburg, Kyle Shirk (Jodi) of Emmetsburg and Kelsey Shirk of Emmetsburg, Iowa; and his siblings, Michael Marlow of Swea City, Iowa and LeAnn Castillo of Britt, Iowa. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
