He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry J. Neppl and Mary Neppl (Snyder); and his siblings, Isidore Neppl, Florence Christensen, Melvin Neppl, Ethel Pohlen and Gerald Neppl.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Hyer; his daughters, Mary Wachter (Paul) of Fremont, NE and Pamela Lottman (Myron) of Mooresville, NC; his grandchildren, Meredith Wachter, John Paul Wachter (Rachel), Emily Lottman, Ashley Brueckner (Ryan) and Andrew Lottman (Brittanie); his great grandchildren, Jackson Wachter, Madison Brueckner and Hunter Lottman; and his sisters, Lorraine Kirchner, Bernice Bendixen and Rita Mae Fox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
