He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Moore and Dorothy Moore (Paugh); his son-in-law Thomas Umscheid; his siblings, Margie Powell (Vern), Gene Moore (Ellen) and Dean Moore (Dorothy); and his parents-in-law, Doris and Maurice Carlson.

He is survived by: his wife Sandy of Armstrong; his children, Dan Moore (Denette), Dawn Umscheid (Tom) and Doran Moore (Angie); his niece Tracie Schnell (Brian); his grandchildren, Dustin Moore (Judy), Darbie Schreiber (Corey), Dylan, Lexi Moore, Dayna, Dyson Umscheid, Hailey, Emily and Zach Schnell; his great grandchildren, Rylee Moore, Whitney and Jesse Schreiber; his brothers, Roy Moore (Sherry) and Charles Moore (Jackie); and his sister-in-law Peggy Umscheid (Chuck).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Nazareth Lutheran Church.
