It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Taylor Dirksen (Estherville, Iowa), born in Ringsted, Iowa, who passed away on January 21, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Herman and Mary Elizabeth Long (Jackson); her husbands, Wendell Taylor and Ed Dirksen; and her siblings, Ralph, Delbert, Hazel, Earl, Floyd, Dale, Irma and Lois.
She is survived by: her children, Roland Taylor (Gwen) of Terril, Roberta Donaldson (Gordon) of Cedar Rapids and Michael Taylor (Shirley) of Lake Park; her grandchildren, Chris Taylor, Lisa Fahnlander (Kevin), Angie Smith (Nick), Sommer Sheridan (Thad Taylor), Jeremy Taylor (Tiffany), Dustin Taylor (Cassie) and Alex Taylor; and her stepdaughter Beverly Goertzen (Rollie) of Circle Pines, Minn.. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
