We are sad to announce that on September 12, 2023, at the age of 89, Chris Kjar (Estherville, Iowa), born in Spencer, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Kjar and Petra Kjar; his son Chris Junior (Marlene); and his siblings, Anna, Axel, Karen, George and Christa.

He is survived by: his children, Michael, Scott and Elizabeth. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

The family requests no flowers for the private burial.
