He was predeceased by: his sister Beverly; and his granddaughter Amy. He is survived by: his spouse Ardis Smith; his children, Cindy Hornby (Roger), Jeff Hanson (Terri) and Bill Hanson (Becky); and his grandchildren, KrisJon (Nicole), Sara (Corey), Ariel (Nate), Nick (Lindy), Paul (Whitney), Adam (Linette), Crystal (Jerad), Jill (Tyler), Nathan (Corin), Amanda (Ross) and Abby.
