It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn Johnson of Essex, Iowa, who passed away on June 20, 2020, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Luther Emmanuel Johnson and Nellie Rebecca Lenore Johnson (Parker); his sons, Randy Johnson and John Michael Johnson; his grandson Jim Royer; and his siblings, Marion, Frank, Harold (Barney), Norma, Lauretta, Helen and Willa Mae.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Johnson of Essex, IA; his children, Rhonda Royer (Jay) of Blue Eye, MO and Howard Johnson (Christy) of Essex, IA; his grandchildren, Edi Bond (Jesse), Tyler Johnson (Taylor), Whitney Heinold (Chase), Kendria Johnson and Jennalynn Johnson; his great grandchildren, Brock of Essex, Lennox Johnson of Essex, Gwen of Essex and Blair Heinold of Essex; and his brother Raymond Johnson of Seal Beach, CA. He is also survived by numerous other relatives; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers and/or memorial trees, the family would appreciate memorials in Lynn's name to be directed to the Essex Presbyterian Church or to the Shenandoah Elks Lodge #1122.
