She was predeceased by: her parents, Larry Dean and Beverly Louise Praiswater (Roberts); her brother Doug Praiswater; and her sister-in-law Lu Praiswater. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Austin, Trent, Aiden, Scarlett, Mila, Ellie and Cameron; her husband Don Schmitt of Essex, IA; her children, Amy Carlson of Papillion, NE, Erick Schmitt (Lily) of Allen, TX, Karly Schmitt (Todd Wiese) of Omaha, NE and Kristi Patton (Hank) of Malvern, IA; and her brothers, Randy Praiswater (Cindy) of Country Club, MO, Mike Praiswater (Kim) of Platte City, MO, Alan Praiswater (Sue) of Fillmore, MO and Stuart Praiswater of Fillmore, MO. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are being directed to the family and will be sent to the Lupus Foundation of America to help further research.
