It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd A. Fike Jr. of Essex, Iowa, born in Shenandoah, Iowa, who passed away on December 9, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd and Thelma Fike, Sr. (Homan); and his sisters, Patricia Carlson, Pranda Hale, Lee Ellen Allumbaugh and Mary Jo Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Fike of Essex; his daughters, Dawn Daugherty (David) of Sidney and Donna Driskell (Mike) of Farragut; his grandchildren, Colbie Fike, Ethan Mace, Carter and Gavin Driskell (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Tucker Binau, Kayden, Ozlynn Hunter and Knox Driskell; and his brothers-in-law, Verlin Smith and Ottis Hale. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
