She is survived by: her children, Kelly S. Rice (Bill Besler) of Epworth, IA and James P. Rice, III (Joanne) of Cottage Grove, MN; her grandchildren, Theodore J. Hoffmann, Ashlee N. Hoffmann, Shelby Rice, Bailey Rice, James Rice IV, John Rice and Gary Hoffmann of Epworth, IA; her brother Robert Simon of Dubuque; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Connolly (Lyle) of Davenport, IA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
