He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Katherine Clancy of Epworth, IA; his child Sean Clancy; his parents, Eugene Clancy and Amke Clancy of Epworth; his sister Angela Theisen (Bill) of Epworth, IA; his brothers-in-law, Richard Luensmann (Cindy) of Dubuque, IA, Michael Luensmann of Epworth, IA and Ken Luensmann (Deb) of Holy Cross, IA; and his sister Monica Urbain. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
