It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Sewell of Emmetsburg, Iowa, born in Graettinger, Iowa, who passed away on July 21, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sewell and Maude Sewell (Minor); his daughter Kathryn; his siblings, Kenton Sewell (Posie), Gene Sewell, John Sewell (Dorothy), Bette Fancolly (John) and Joyce Bunn (Les); and his grandmother Hux.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille of Emmetsburg; his children, Pat Bleuer (Bill) of West Bend, Bob Sewell (Kay) of Milford, Betty Makey (Jim) of Box Elder, SD, Mary Krakau (Bill) of Roland, Sharon Flanery (Patrick) of Omaha, NE and Deanne Sheley (Chad) of Casey; and his brother Jim Sewell (Karen) of West Bend. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions will go towards a bench in Wayne's honor at Sewell Park in Emmetsburg.
