She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Auten and Viola Auten (Booge); her husband John Vaughan; her daughters, Mary and Marie; her brothers-in-law, Pat Vaughan, Tom Vaughan and Dennis Schumacher; and her parents-in-law, Steve and Mary Vaughan.

She is survived by: her children, Joni, Ron Skowzgird of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, Jerry, Sue Vaughan of Tucson, Arizona, Gene and Tracy Vaughan of Elk Grove, California; her grandson Austin Hagen (Emily); her great grandchildren, Miriam and Wally; her grandchildren, Adam Hagen (Lauren) and Allyson Orr (Billy); her great grandchildren, Nicolas, William, Benjamin and Owen; her grandchild Alexa Flannery (Matt); her great grandchildren, Aedan, Landon and Bella; her granddaughter Emily Keating (Josh); her great grandchild Beau; her grandson Jeremiah Vaughan; her great grandchild Skylar; her grandson John Vaughan; her brothers, Virgil Auten Jr. (Jo) of Mallard, Iowa and ValDean Auten (Karen) of Mallard, Iowa; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Schumacher of Mallard, Iowa and Fran Vaughan of Mallard, Iowa. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
