She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Richardson and Vina Richardson; her brother Arnold; and her husbands, Robert Sprout and Joe Hanson.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Sprout (Dawn) of Los Angeles, Tom Hanson of Charlotte, Becky Hanson of Estherville, Eric Hanson (Sue) of Hudson and Jenny Boggess (Tom) of Estherville, Iowa.; and her grandchildren, Robert, Laurel, Barrett, Elizabeth, Sarah, Robin, Abbey, Ellen, Joe, Emily, Patrick, Arthur, Erin and Lauren.
She donated the proceeds to Habitat for Humanity.
