He was predeceased by: his parents, John Francis and Helen Ford Nolan; his siblings, John Jr., Patrick Nolan, Margery Berens and Jean Nolan; and his nephew Daniel Rouse.
He is survived by: his sisters, Anita Keifer of Iowa City and Ruth Rouse (Dave) of Emmetsburg; and his sister-in-law Carole Nolan of Marion. He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews and their children; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to a scholarship fund being established with the Emmetsburg Educational Foundation in Bob's name for students entering the field of education upon high school graduation.
