He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustav Dietrich and Florentina Dietrich (Richter); his wife Ruth Ann Bruhn; and his siblings, Fred Lenz, Carl Lenz, Ernie Lenz, Wally Lenz, Eddie Lenz and Liz Chapman.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Dietrich, Jr. (Barb) of Emmetsburg, Diane Blair (Rick) and Alan Dietrich (Louanne) of Blue Eye, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Rev. Chadric Dietrich (Alyson), Matthew Dietrich (Andrea), Aaron Dietrich (Laura), Stephanie Rodriguez (Chris), John Blair (Kristi), Nathan Blair (Nicole), Levi Dietrich and Jordan Peterson (Travis). He is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
