With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Thorsbakken of Emmetsburg, Iowa, born in Algona, Iowa, who passed away on March 14, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Myrtle Irene Schaffer (Fosnaugh); her husband Roger Thorsbakken; her father Henry Schaffer; and her siblings, Fern Thompson, Robert "Bob" Schaffer, Alice Shipler, Richard "Jack" Schaffer and Roxie Mogler-Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Thorsbakken of Pocahontas, Mark Thorsbakken of Emmetsburg, Cynthia Crowe of Lafayette and Jeanine Thorsbakken of Frederick, Colorado. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
