Melvin B. Waterman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Melvin B. Waterman of Emmetsburg, Iowa, born in Waverly, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Melvin shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Melvin farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Grace Waterman (Riker) and Earl Waterman; his siblings, Harry, Donald, Kenneth Waterman and Mildred; and his son Joseph Waterman.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin B. Waterman, Jr. of Greenville and Debra Elaine Booth of Lexington. He is also survived by five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; as well as other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Martin-Mattice Funeral Home (704 Grand Ave, Emmetsburg, IA 50536).
