He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Strube and Coleen Blum Strube; his father-in-law Jim Whitehouse; and his nephew Hunter James Brandt. He is survived by: his wife Susan Whitehouse; his son Zach (Kellie); his grandsons, Tanner Max and Dexter James of Overland Park, KS; his son Drew (Jaci); his grandchild Major Hudson of Waukee, IA; his son Taylor (Elsey); his grandchildren, Steele Grace and Celia Maxine; his sisters, Roxanne Strube Peterson (Paul) of Steilacoom, WA and Roseann Strube Hoppe of Clear Lake, SD; his stepsiblings, Bret Zieman (Cyndi) of Rockwall, TX and Terri Brandt (Ian) of Des Moines, IA.; his stepmother Linda Strube Page (Richard) of Waukee, IA; and his mothers-in-law, Hermina Amoroso of New Hampton, IA and Georgia Whitehouse of Estherville, IA..
