With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Helen Feldman of Emmetsburg, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 25, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Melvin and Mary Madeline Coyne Hand; her husband Jack Feldman; her siblings, Elizabeth Lang, Patrick Hand, Richard Hand, Sheila Farrell and William Hand; and her children, Maureen Burke and Kevin Kelly Feldman.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Feldman (Mary) of Ruthven, Tom Feldman (Rhonda) of Carroll, Theresa Eick (Ron) of Terril, Jim Feldman (Cindy) of Fostoria, Jenny Murray (Ken) of North Liberty, Katy Foley of Largo and Barb Mullenbach (Dan) of Urbandale. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
A vigil service was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Martin-Mattice Funeral Home (704 Grand Ave, Emmetsburg, IA 50536). Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (2003 Broadway St, Emmetsburg, IA 50536).
