She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tobin and Frances Tobin (Carlson); her husband Maurice Greene; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Tobin, Mary Eleanor Greene, Gerald Greene and Donald Greene.
She is survived by: her children, Maurine Greene of Blue Springs, Michele Greene, Marilyn Noonan (Ed) of Ayrshire, Margaret Tucker (Mike) of Strawberry Point, Iowa, Michael Greene of Spencer, Mark Greene of Minneapolis, Matthew Greene of Ruthven, Maury Greene (Kristin) of Minnetonka and Marty Greene (Kim) of Chardon, Ohio; her daughter-in-law Lois Greene of Ankeny, Iowa; and her brother Patrick Tobin of Ainsworth, Iowa. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 3:45 PM at the Martin-Mattice Funeral Home (704 Grand Ave, Emmetsburg, IA 50536). Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (2003 Broadway St, Emmetsburg, IA 50536).
