She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Decker and Magdalen Decker (Ludowese); her husband John Leuer; her siblings, Mary Zitzlsperger (Gene), Ethel Williams (Norman), Leola Noreen (Ray), Delores LaBrie (Roland), Kathleen Graesing (Kenneth) and Vernon Decker; her nephew Bill Noreen; and her niece Vera Peglow.
She is survived by: her children, Nick Leuer (Brenda) of Emmetsburg, Lois Naig (Dallas) of Emmetsburg, Mark Leuer (Becky) of Phoenix, Robert Leuer (Carey) of Mallard, Jean Long (Bryan) of Emmetsburg, Jane Evans (Jeff) of Norfolk, Virginia and Tim Leuer (Kristal) of Emmetsburg, Iowa; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Decker of Marshalltown, Arlene Zimpleman of Williamsburg, Pam Ellis of Omaha, Nebraska and Lyle Roberts of Ankeny, Iowa. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
