Lois Reka Dunigan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Reka Dunigan of Emmetsburg, Iowa, born in Spencer, Iowa, who passed away on December 3, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Bleeker and Minnie Bleeker (Zishka); her husband William James Dunigan; her grandchildren, Melissa Dunigan, Jennifer Kliegl and Aaron Dunigan; her brother Darrell Bleeker; and her children-in-law, Mary Crawmer Dunigan and Jim Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Kliegl (Ken) of Laurens, Bill Dunigan (Sandy) of Ramona, Pat Dunigan of Fairmont, Bob Dunigan of Goose Creek, Cindy Thompson of Cylinder, Peg Stowell (Rick) of Gilbert and Deb Winkleblack (Chuck) of Ames, Iowa; and her sister Vergene Donovan of Spirit Lake, Iowa. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be given to the Palo Alto County Hospital.
