It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Frederick of Emmetsburg, Iowa, who passed away on April 13, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Frederick and Alice Frederick (Conway); his wife Kathleen "Kate" Brennan; his sons, Thomas "Tom" Frederick and James "Jimmy" Frederick; and his siblings, Donald Frederick, Ralph Frederick and Marie Pettit.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Kathleen (Dan) of Emmetsburg, Alice Haht (Jim) of Sutherland, John Frederick (Laurie) of Mesa, Joe Frederick of Henderson, Therese Schany (Chuck) of Spencer and Catherine "Cathy" Berkland (Mark) of Emmetsburg, Iowa. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.
